Learn how to increase learning, decrease behaviors, and individualize
a program for individuals with Autism, Asperger's Syndrome, and Developmental Disabilties!
Practical strategies, which you can use immediately, will be taught!!
This training is hands-on learning. There will be lecture and video clips mixed with practice sessions
of skills being taught.
Participants will learn:
- Applied behavior analysis (ABA) strategies that they can apply within functional activities and/or life skills
- How to structure the learning environment, implement reinforcement strategies, and add visual supports to
ensure success
- Replacement behaviors (to teach in place of inappropriate behaviors)
- To use strategies for "how" to teach based on how individuals with autism and developmental disabilities learn and
process information
- Functional communication skills
These strategies are effective for individuals in:
